Description of Workshop:

The ANR Office of Contracts & Grants and the UC Davis Innovation Access Office work together to support the continuum of innovation at ANR – from developing a new research project with a sponsor to protecting new inventions and transferring technologies to industry partners for commercializing in the marketplace.

This course will explain your rights, as a UC employee, under UC Patent Policy, and will detail the technology transfer process for new inventions. It will also explain why Intellectual Property language in research agreements is important and how it can have implications lasting after the research project is concluded.

I hope you are able to participate.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  knolan@ucanr.edu or 530-219-8126

*If you are a UCB or UCR based C.E. Specialist, this workshop will still be very helpful and we encourage you to participate. However, you will be utilizing the Technology Transfer Offices on your campus for invention reporting.
