Reporting Multi State Extension Activity for a Project/Program
To report a Multi state Extension Activity for one of your Projects/Programs, or to change or delete a Multi state Extension Activity record you previously created, click the Multi-state Activity link in the menu at the left of the screen. You will then see the Annual Report/Multistate Extension Activity/Add/Update Records Screen.
A Multi state Extension Activity is defined as:
"...collaborative efforts that reflect the programs of institutions located in at least two or more States... Each participating State must be a collaborator towards objectives and involved in the outcomes. Evidence of this collaboration should have been documented through the formal agreements, letters of memorandum, contracts, grants, or other documents that provide primary evidence that a multistate relationship exists. Please note that formal agreements are not required."
Examples of Multi state Extension Activity: Time spent on the following activities may qualify as Multi state Extension Activity:
- ANR workgroup activities/projects where there are active Extension participants from other states can be counted by each workgroup member.
- Committees that plan programs, curriculum, publications, etc. that involve Extension colleagues from other states
- Research or Extension projects that involve Extension colleagues from other states
- Training given to participants in other states through other state Extension programs
- Workshops planned with other state Extension colleagues
- Meetings that are jointly planned with Extension colleagues from other states.
To Report a Multi state Extension Activity:
- Choose the Project/Program for which you want to record a Multi state Extension Activity by clicking in the box labeled Select Project/Program. You will see the titles of all your Projects/Programs. Click the Project/Program for the activity you are reporting.
- In the display, you will see all your previously created Multi state Extension Activity records for the Project/Program you selected. If you have any such previously created activities, scroll to the bottom of the list to see the data entry boxes for the new activity to be added.
- Enter the appropriate details about the activity you are reporting in the boxes. NOTE: The begin and end dates must fall within the current fiscal year.
- Click Save Record to add the record to your file.
To Change or Delete a Multi state Extension Activity Record Created in the Current Fiscal Year:
- Choose the Project/Program for which you reported the Multi state Extension Activity by clicking in the box labeled Select Project/Program. You will see the titles of all your Projects/Programs. Click the appropriate one.
- Click the Date Recorded date for the record you wish to change or delete. You will then see the record’s data in the Annual Report/Multistate Extension Activity/Add/Update Records Screen.
- To change information in this activity report, type over existing entries in the boxes, then click Update Record.
- To delete the activity report, click Delete.
