Each year, dry bean researchers publish summaries of their work in the annual Dry Bean Progress Report. These reports are distributed to members of the Dry Bean Advisory Board and its Councils as well as to bean warehouses in the Central Valley. If you need information on a specific topic, contact your local farm advisor or representative to the Bean Board or Council.
Ascochyta blight and White Mold (Sclerotinia Stem Rot) are important diseases of garbanzo beans (chickpeas) grown in the Central San Joaquin Valley of California. Two publications have been prepared to help growers learn to identify these diseases and improve management practices to limit their spread.
