Proficiency Tests
The horse mastership program is available for members that would like to increase their knowledge of horses and their care. If you are interested, please contact your leader for the paperwork that gives more details. (TEST is Optional) Please contact your leader!
There are three sections to the test, and you will receive a certificate and pin at 4-H recognition night after passing each section.
You will be able to take the test at our 4-H Round Up Horse Show and at the All-Species Round Up Day. Check the calendar for the dates.
The 4-H Mall has 2 optional books for sale for a reasonable price! These books are great aids in studying for the proficiency test! the study guides below are in the same format as the test. No surprises! Please ask if you have questions.
