Network Activities
In addition to an online resource, the Solution Center for Nutrient Management is intended to be a network of growers and researchers throughout California interested in peer-to-peer learning and sharing their knowledge of nutrient management.

Our activities to date have included:
- "Virtual Field Days" hosted in collaboration with FarmsReach, featuring farmers, UCCE advisors, and researchers who provided resources and answered to questions on nutrient management during the drought for grapes, almonds, and dairy. Though the discussions have ended, you can still join the nutrient management discussion group on FarmsReach and ask questions on the topic.
- Breakfast meeting in Winters, CA to discuss soil testing techniques and protocols
- Field day in Stockton, CA to discuss nitrous oxide emissions in corn
- Introduction to Solution Center resources at the Russell Ranch Sustainable Agriculture Facility
Throughout 2017, we will be hosting meetings around California to share findings from the California Nitrogen Assessment and hear local perspectives on nitrogen management practices and policy.
