Resources for Presenters

Presentation Deadlines:

August 31: Register if you haven't done so already.
August 22:  Please submit a short, paragraph style biography to UC ANR Program Support Unit.
August 26: Submit any corrections to abstracts.
 
Abstracts and biographies will be printed for participants and placed in each packets, so please be sure to provide a timely review to help us meet print deadlines.
 

Poster Presenter Information:

Date/Time: Posters will be displayed on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 5:30-8:30 PM.
Location: The Adorni Center, 1011 Waterfront Dr., Eureka, CA 95501.
Posters will be displayed on double-sided poster boards, 8 ft. wide by 4 ft. tall.
- Posters should not be mounted. Please print posters on paper.
- Please let UC ANR Program Support know if you plant to present anything other than a poster (not mounted).
Set Up:
- Write your poster's number and primary author's name on the back of your poster in pencil (i.e. #1 - Cooper).
- Drop off your poster during registration at the Sequoia Conference Center and our staff will set them up for you.
 

Paper Deadlines:

On or before September 13: Papers are due.
October 1-31: Review of the formatted papers by session chairs.
November 1-15: Authors revise the papers.
December-January: Proceedings are finalized and printed.
 
Papers of your presentation material will be published in the Proceedings of the Symposium, to be produced as a USDA Forest General Technical Report. Click here to view the paper format guidelines for the proceedings. The primary/corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that papers conform to the formatting requirements for USDA Forest Service General Technical Reports (GTR).
