Southern California Green Waste-Wood Biomass Management Symposium

Description: This day-long symposium will address the issues and best management options regarding the increasing surpluses of green waste and woody biomass occurring in all southern California landscapes due to drought, abandoned agricultural groves and invasive insects and diseases. You are invited to join us and hear from a broad range of experts, land managers, industry professionals, scientists, and policy makers to better understand the challenges and discover strategies to overcome obstacles and implement best management practices.
Registration Fee and Deadline
$49 per participant; registration deadline is February 1, 2017.
The registration fee covers presentations, handout materials, full breakfast buffet and lunch, morning and afternoon refreshments, continuing education units and educational displays.
Continuing Education Units:
Applications are in process with the California Department of Pesticide Regulation, Western Chapter of International Society of Aboriculture and the Society of American Foresters.
Lunch Options:
During the registration process, you will be required to select your choice of lunch entrée. The options are: Mango Chicken, Miso Glazed Salmon or Tofu Stir-Fry. Full descriptions may be found at the Symposium website.
