Construction and renovations on the new building began on April 3, 2013, and on November 4, 2013 we moved in. Through the collaborative efforts of our departments we were able to complete our move — the relocation of 160 employees; 18 units, from six buildings — in one week. We did this all the while providing our usual services to the University and our associated communities.

ANR Davis has many state-of-the-art features, and also represents UC ANR values:

• Innovation: As a Division we are leading innovators in bringing science based solutions to California’s communities and the world. This building demonstrates ANR innovation by providing comfortable workspaces with state of the art technology.
• Sustainability: By renovating the building, and by following Leadership and Energy & Environmental Design (LEED), ANR continues to demonstrate its leadership in sustainability.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: With sixteen units now working together at ANR Davis, we have an exciting opportunity to make new connections, expand our networks and work more effectively.
