UC ANR fonts and colors
Consistency in font and color is an important part of building a brand identity. The same font use and color palette serves as a visual signpost showing we are all part of the same family.
The font families associated with the UC ANR Branding Toolkit are Minion Pro (serif) and Cronos Pro (sans serif). We realize that not everyone will have these font families available.
Acceptable substitutes are Times New Roman (serif) in place of Minion Pro and Verdana (sans serif) in place of Cronos Pro. These font families are automatically built into the templates in this Toolkit.
The UC ANR color palette below is recommended as a best practice. These colors are automatically included in Toolkit templates and Site Builder 3 templates.
This color palette is based on the traditional University of California blue and gold, with four sub-colors for the healthy themes: Healthy Californians, Healthy Communities, Healthy Food Systems and Healthy Environments.
Monitors differ greatly, so refer to the CMYK and RGB color codes when working with vendors and artists on print pieces. You can also download a PDF file of the CMYK and RGB color palette.
