Nursery Automation and Labor Survey
The LEAP (Labor, Efficiency, Automation, Production) Team is asking for input from nursery owners and managers to assess how automation can address labor issues, production capacity, and profitability. The LEAP Team includes researchers from the University of Tennessee, University of Florida, North Carolina State University, Oregon State University, Texas A&M, and USDA, with guidance from an advisory board of industry professionals.
The LEAP Team asks for you to improve their understanding of nursery automation needs, constraints, and opportunities via a 20 minute online survey: LEAP Survey

ABC's of Plant Pathology in the Nursery & Greenhouse Webinar Series

This virtual workshop series will provide an introduction to plant pathology, including signs and symptoms of various diseases, management strategies, and emerging diseases in ornamental nurseries and greenhouses. The series consists of 3 webinars offering a total of 4.5 hours of training. The workshop is offered in English and Spanish.

Disease diagnostics program for growers

Johanna Del Castillo, Assistant Project Scientist at UC Davis in the Plant Pathology department, is initiating a greenhouse and nursery pathology diagnostics service for ornamental plants at no cost for growers.
She will be receiving samples for disease diagnosis from greenhouse and nursery growers via growers and farm advisors.
