***Planned outages***

UCPath will be unavailable on the following dates and times:

  • Wednesday April 29, 10 p.m. through 8 a.m. Tuesday, May 5
  • Friday, May 22, 10 p.m. through 8 a.m. Thursday, May 28

During this time, UCPath will be unavailable for all users. 

  • Employees will be unable to check pay or leave balances or update personal information.
  • Service channels, recruiters and other central HR and payroll teams will be unable to process transactions.
  • Applicants will be unable to view or apply for jobs.

Downstream systems will not receive updated data from UCPath during the outages. Cognos data will be updated with data as of the previous day  before the outage begins, and Cognos will remain available.

These outages will allow the UCPath Center to convert UC San Diego and UC San Francisco employee information into UCPath. While every effort is made to schedule these outages on weekends, they will impact deadlines associated with UCPath.

UCPath is a systemwide project launched by the University of California to modernize its aging payroll/personnel system. UCPath introduces new technology that will unify and standardize payroll, benefits and human resources systems for all UC employees.

UCPath will allow ANR to streamline our payroll and human resources processes and provide more efficient and improved service to UC ANR employees. Supervisors and employees will have improved access to information through new self-service portals, and will be supported by a new UCPath service center in Riverside.
