UCCE
The mission of the University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) is to enhance the quality of life and the environmental and economic well-being of the citizens of California through research and education. Cooperative Extension farm, natural resources, 4-H, and nutrition, family and consumer sciences advisors extend knowledge and provide county research in more than 50 county offices in California. Specialists housed on University campuses conduct research, provide information for dissemination, and leadership for statewide programs. UCCE is a part of the Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) of the University of California. Funding for UCCE is provided by the National Institute of Food and Agriculture of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), state and county governments and land-grant universities.
Additional information about UCCE and UCCE county offices may be found on the UC ANR website.
