OSHA Outreach Training Program

The KREC EH&S offers biannually an OSHA Outreach Training Program course in General Industry Safety and Health Standards. The course covers OSHA policies, procedures, and standards as well as general industry safety and health principles. This is an entry-level course that provides employees with basic safety and health knowledge for the general industry.


A special emphasis is placed on laboratory hazards, using OSHA standards as a guideline. To receive a Certificate of Completion card participants are required to attend four required core courses and six other courses of their choice offered from the program criteria.
