The UC ANR Policy and Procedure Manual (PPM) sets forth operating policies and procedures specific to ANR as a whole or where UC policy requires that implementing procedures be issued based on the UC Academic Personnel Manual (APM).
Since May 2020, Section 300: Academic Personnel has been under revision by Academic HR, Administrative Policies and Business Contracts, and the Academic Assembly Personnel Committee; and has been reviewed by Associate VP Powers, Vice Provost Lagrimini and Vice Provost Bell. The existing Series 300 sections of the PPM are very old and do not reflect our current practices or the current UC ANR organization. The revision was focused primarily on bringing the PPM into alignment with UC ANR’s current practices as well as with the current UC Academic Personnel Manual. Accordingly, the policies are proposed to be revised for current practices, consistency, clarity, updated titles and links, and to incorporate gender-neutral language.
Clean and redlined versions of the revised sections are available for broad review by all ANR academics through February 19, 2021. Please forward questions and/or suggested changes to Catherine Montano at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than February 19, 2021. Please indicate "PPM 300 Series Revisions" in the subject line. All comments will be reviewed by Academic HR, Administrative Policies and Business Contracts, and the Academic Assembly Personnel Committee Chair.
