Focusing your manuscript

If you are considering writing an ANR publication, here are some questions to ask yourself and your fellow authors. This publication development plan is an optional step, but one that can help you shape and target your manuscript so its peer review is positive, it best serves your clientele and program, and it supports the Division’s Strategic Initiatives. Ideally, this is completed in consultation with your Associate Editor.

12. What goals do you envision this publication achieving? Why is it needed?
13. Are there anticipated benefits from this publication to the target audience? (e.g., improved health and safety, better yield/quality, money savings...)
14. Are there anticipated benefits from this publication to any affiliated professionals? (e.g., farm advisors, Extension specialists, public)
15. Are there other ANR publications that discuss this topic?
