Darlene Liesch and Linda Manton have trained over 200 ANR employees in Crucial Conversation techniques.  Others trained include University of Arizona Cooperative Extension faculty and staff, county government key leaders and managers, and other Cooperative Extension faculty who participated in the National Galaxy III Conference.

What's a Crucial Conversation?
If you feel frustrated or stuck with your team, manager, employee, or co-worker - or if you're having trouble achieving the results you want in your organization - chances are there's a crucial conversation that needs to take place. 

Crucial Conversations are about emotionally and politically risky topics that typically people either avoid or constantly clash, in either case causing more damage to the organization than good.  Common examples include how to talk to a manager who won't handle an obvious personnel problem, how to reach agreement when all the decision-makers are at the same level of power, confronting inappropriate behavior with a boss or employee.

The Crucial Conversations (tm) program introduces you to the highly effective principles you need to handle crucial conversations - principles that if practiced will yield major improvements in productivity, speed of decision-making, quality, safety, change management, and personal relationships. 

After more than 25 years of research in two dozen industries involving over 25,000 individuals, we have found that:

10.  Move to Action - How to turn crucial conversations into action and results
