Workgroup Information

Climate Change Adaptation

Summary The Workgroup will bring together UC, ANR and external scientists to collaborate on research and extension projects specific to climate change adaptation of California agriculture. The newly formed Climate Sub Hub at UC Davis seeks to engage UC academics to form a productive partnership that can address pressing climate change issues facing California agriculture. This Workgroup will be the main venue to foster interaction between UC, USDA, NRCS and other partner organizations. The UC ANR Strategic Vision predicts that California will face increasing challenges due to climate change; this Workgroup will be a key asset to help UC ANR meet these challenges.
