In this course, leaders and managers will learn how to push in the direction that produces an inclusive work environment, including using inclusive language, to lead toward transformation for the total enterprise, not just its component parts. Join the UC ANR Program Planning and Evaluation team, UCCE evaluation specialist Vikram Koundinya, UC 4-H evaluation coordinator Roshan Nayak, and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion for online interactive trainings. These trainings will highlight UCCE examples.

What to Expect: The Grant Essentials Summit will offer sessions focused on the essentials of successfully securing grant funding – learning best practices in grantsmanship, understanding funding agencies, articulating your project plans, building partnerships, and collaborating teams, and establishing relationships with agency program officers. Examples will be drawn especially from USDA and NSF, but we will also explore other funders. Participants will engage in a number of interactive exercises and discussions, including strategies for developing competitive proposals.
Presenter: Atkisson Training Group. ATG specializes in providing training on grant writing and grant skill development. Their goal is to help people initiate projects, programs, and positions with the tools needed for long-term growth and success.
