More ANR advocacy at UCOP

Today, during UCOP’s regular First Friday breakfast buffet in the lobby, Lorrie Mandoriao and Pam Kan-Rice hosted a table to answer questions about ANR, giving away bookmarks, screen sweeps and sticky pads publicizing the ucanr.org Web site. While most people didn’t know that UC Cooperative Extension serves every county in the state (except Alpine), others told us they enjoy reading California Agriculture journal online.

 

One woman said she printed out the pest control recommendations from the IPM kiosk, then e-mailed the IPM Web address to all of her friends.

The feedback from our UCOP colleagues on the ANR banners has been overwhelming positive.
