- CE Specialist in Dairy Health Economics (pdf), uploaded 05/18/2012 by John Pascoe
This proposal has been formally submitted for the 2012 cycle.
The Specialist in Dairy Health Economics will meet critical needs for helping the California dairy industry to continue as the leader in dairy production. The Dairy Health Economics Specialist will develop new knowledge and create tools for answering challenging questions associated with economically-important diseases and production constraints which each dairy must effectively manage. This position will be strategically located in the heart of California’s dairy industry at the UC Davis Veterinary Medicine Teaching and Research Center (VMTRC) in Tulare. There will be significant opportunities to continue and enhance ongoing collaborative efforts that already exist among specialists, advisors, and faculty members between the Davis and Tulare campuses in addition to augmenting the work of the existing dairy economics specialist at Davis.
