Follow-up Webinar: Input on the Summit Findings
The North American Forestry Education Summit was held on May 7-9, 2014 in Berkeley, California as part of the Centennial Celebration for UC Berkeley. The Summit addressed eight key areas affecting the future of forestry education, and developed recommendations for future actions. As part of the Summit process, a webinar was held on June 9, 2014 to provide a platform for a broad cross-section of the North American forestry community to comment on the recommendations developed at the summit. For those of who were unable to participate in the webinar, we have a recording posted at this link: http://uc-d.adobeconnect.com/p1wt3w6rask/
We have also provided a file with a PDF of the powerpoint slides presented at the webinar which can be downloaded at:
We would value input into the eight critical issues, and have provided a public site to enter comments on the Summit findings and recommendations: http://ucanr.edu/summitinput
We will be forwarding all feedback we receive to the steering committee for the Berkeley Summit, to help guide the final recommendations.
