Project Skills Showcase

EQUIP attendees with new resources and skills at the Project Skills Showcase!

The bottom line is that EVERYONE wants FRESH ideas to engage youth in active learning. The Project Skills Showcase is designed to provide all participants with a broad range of research-based, high-quality, interesting, and diverse project ideas to enhance youth engagement and programming at the local level.

The Showcase is designed for exhibitors to share new project ideas and resources with all of the attendees at the retreat, not just those who sign up for their workshop. The Showcases's exhibit environment allows you to roam and stop by the different booths to learn and practice the skills necessary to put what you learn into practice with the youth you work with.

Want to display a project skill or a new research-based curriculum in the Showcase? Submit a Project Skills Showcase proposal proposals are being accepted till all spots are filled.

Project Skills Showcase Booth Information

The Showcase will be open throughout the entire day on Saturday, November 9th, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Extended hours from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm are available only for Showcase booth presenters who are registered for the Volunteer Retreat and staying at Asilomar.

All proposals must be submitted by the submission deadlines to be considered. If your proposal is chosen, your Project Skills Showcase booth package will be as follows:

Registered for the Friday pre-retreat workshops, The Volunteer Retreat, and staying at Asilomar:

a FREE Showcase booth
early access on Friday to set up your booth and interact with participants
extended evening hours on Saturday from 6pm to 8pm

extended evening hours on Saturday from 6pm to 8pm

Project Skills Showcase on Saturday, November 9, 2019 ONLY

Register for the day use fee ($150) and receive access to the retreat for the day, lunch, and parking plus your Showcase booth!

Showcase Hours

Saturday, November 9, 2019

Move In: 7:00 am – 9:30 am

Show On: 10 am – 6 pm (extended hours to 8pm for those registered for the whole retreat)

Move Out: 6 pm – 8 pm

Proposal & Submission Schedule

Proposals will be accepted until August 4, 2019 or until all spots are filled. If your proposal is accepted, acknowledgment and acceptance of the agreement will be required by the following schedule to secure your space.
