New regulations require that everyone who employs farm workers must provide a pesticide safety training for their workers at the beginning of each season. UC Cooperative Extension and the Agriculture Department in Contra Costa County have been offering a series of classes to help local growers meet these requirements as well as to promote agricultural safety in the county. We have two classes left in the series.
