Organic Herbicide Research in Landscapes

Project Summary

With recent concern about the herbicide glyphosate (active ingredient in some RoundUp and numerous lesser-known but readily available products), research is needed on what some like to think of as substitutes to this popular herbicide. However, the current products are the market are not an apples-to-apples swap for glyphosate.

Since 2019, I have been conducting trials on variously organically acceptable and other non-conventional products as alternatives for weed control by landscape professionals.

Information on this page is preliminary as research is still underway.
