The California Chapter of the American Society of Agronomy will be holding its annual Plant and Soil Conference January 31 and February 1 in Fresno, California. Program information and agenda are available from calasa.ucdavis.edu

Dr. Ken Cassman: Emeritus Professor, UN of Nebraska, Lincoln. Former Head of the Agronomy, Plant Physiology and Agroecology Division of the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) of the Philippines
