Perlette is
an early-season white seedless table grape developed by H.P. Olmo at the The cultivar gained commercial acceptance in
the late 1940’s and was touted at the time for its lack of seeds and earliness.
The cultivar produces round berries that are firm, crisp and juicy. Clusters
are large and compact and ripen a week ahead of Flame Seedless and three to
four weeks ahead of Thompson Seedless. There are approximately 1,200 hectares of
