"Growing Avocados in the Sacramento Valley" is the second article in the three part series about the history, satisfying success, and pitfalls of growing this wonderful, nutritious fruit in our north valley climate. This article discusses the different factors that need to be understood to successfully grow Avocados in our climate. It explores in more details the varieties that have been successful here, and explains the special pollination process of the different varieties to produce fruit.
