Circle Time and Movement

Many toddler and preschool programs start the day with a "circle time." This time is spent doing fun activities together as a group. It gives kids a chance to imitate adults. Copying movements is a fun way for children to try out new skills.  Doing things together with other kids is also a fun way children learn. The activities in this section are often used in circle times. Watching the videos can remind children of their preschool routines. This can bring some comfort to children who miss being at school. It can also show what school might be like for children who have not started preschool. The activities also give caregivers some ideas for fun activities to do together with children.
