Workshops
Public education events are critical for the delivery of our high quality, creative, and integrated research and extension programs that are established and conducted in Marin County.
This year more than 4,500 people were served in 78 workshops, conferences and tours organized with our community partners.
Our school outreach programs provided nutrition and science education to 12,380 youth and children at farm day events, in school gardens, and childcare facilities.
The events were co-organized with our many community partners including: California Oak Mortality Task Force, City of San Rafael Falkirk Center, College of Marin IVC campus, Conservation Corps North Bay, Dominican College, Environmental Forum, Golden Gate Farmers Market Association, KRCB Channel 22, Marin Agricultural Land Trust, Marin Art and Garden Center, Marin Center, Marin County Ag Commissioners Office, Marin County Community Development Agency, Marin County Farm Bureau, Marin County Fire Dept., Marin County Parks and Open Space, Marin County Libraries, Marin County Office of Education, Marin County Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program (MCSTOPPP), Marin Farmers Market Association, Marin History Museum, Marin Organic, Marin Resource Conservation District, McEvoy Ranch, Natural Resources Conservation Service, North Bay Dairy Women, Sonoma Environmental Film Festival, Tomales Bay Watershed Council, and Western United Dairymen,
