My Amazing Body
My Amazing Body is a nutrition curriculum designed for first graders that helps students learn about the amazing things their body can do and explore how they can keep their amazing bodies healthy through eating nutrient-rich foods, getting plenty of exercise and sleep, and practicing good hygiene.
- Students will increase their consumption of fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
- Students will expand the variety of their diets.
- Students will recognize MyPlate and identify it as a guide to healthy eating.
- Teach students the importance of nutrition, exercise, sleep and hand washing to a healthy body.
