What's This Bug?
MG Patty found ants and this white woolly substance on the underside of her lemon leaves. Answer: Woolly whitefly. There are a few predators and tiny parasitic wasps that can help manage whiteflies. |

But the first step is to manage the ants. The ants are feeding on the honeydew excreted by the whiteflies and will protect them from predators in order to protect their food source. Manage the ants first to make it easier for predators and parasitoids to help you! |
To Thin Or Not To Thin

Thinning apricots can improve the size and quality of your harvest. Thinning can also prevent limb damage or breakage from heavy crop loads. Thin apricots and plums to 3-5 inches apart to allow plenty of space for each individual fruit. |
