Preparing Your Winter Garden: Composting- Cover Crops and Winter Vegetables

Description:  In this beginning class, participants will learn how to prepare their garden for winter by composting, planting cover crops, and planting winter vegetables.

UC Master Gardener Presenter Nancy Kruberg:  Nancy is both a Master Composter and Master Gardener. She has researched and studied living soils as part of the Master Gardeners’ Soil Specialists group and with Dr. Elaine Ingham. She enjoys growing edibles and caring for animals as well as sharing her knowledge and passion for growing healthy plants and working with nature.

UC Master Gardener Presenter Jonathan Propp:  Jonathan has been a master gardener since 2008. He lectures frequently on growing organic fruits and vegetables in the home garden.
