Adult Chaperone
The 4-H Adult Volunteer has an important role at 4-H Camp. They work in partnership with youth camp staff and other adults in delivering program activities in a camp setting. They are also responsible for the safety and well being of campers. 4-H Adult Volunteers at camp must be 21 years of age or older to chaperone.
Note: Adult Chaperones MUST be or become fully enrolled 4-H volunteers.
CHAPERONE JOB DESCRIPTION (coming soon)
There is no cost for a chaperone to attend 4-H Camp. A chaperone may also bring a younger sibling (ages 5-8) to camp provided the child is capable of independent participation in much of the on-going camp program. These youth must also be enrolled in 4-H and pay the full camper fee. Chaperones are responsible for the care of any younger child brought to camp with you for the duration of camp, in addition to supporting youth staff and campers.
