Placer County 4-H has a large range of opportunities for youth to participate in on the local (club level), county, and state levels. First, youth enroll in a club that holds monthly meetings from 1 hour to 1.5 hours in length, then the youth have the opportunity to participate in as many or as few projects as they have interest. Those project meetings vary in length depending on the subject matter.
In the drop-down menu from program opportunities there is additional information on available countywide projects, existing Coordinator Groups for specific areas of interests, as well as, youth leadership roles and programs available at the local and county levels. Additionally, applicable information about both fairs in Placer County may be found.
If you still need assistance related to an individual club, please call the Club Leader and/or VEC of the club you are wanting to join.
For questions regarding specific county programs and/or opportunities please contact the 4-H Community Education Specialist, Shannon Kane at firstname.lastname@example.org.
