Welcome

International Meeting

The Fruit and Nut Research and Information Center organized a two-day international meeting to address a new threat to the U.S. stone fruit industry, Plum Pox Virus (PPV, aka sharka disease).

The meeting was held on September 29 - 30, 2014 on the University of California, Davis Campus. It provided an opportunity for individuals involved in the stone fruit industry to learn more about the threat posed by PPV. Invited presentations addressed the biology of the disease and development of measures to manage the disease in California.
