There are no fees to attend this Program Team meeting; however, please be sure that you let us know if you register and then have to cancel. It helps us to accurately plan staff support.

Objectives

PT members will: 

• Identify geographic and subject matter 'holes' in ANR's environmental horticulture footprint due to attrition and current and projected retirements over the next five years.
• Discuss potential ideas for EH knowledge stream stories, spotlight webinars, and other means to advocate and communicate our value to stakeholders, elected officials and UC colleagues/administration.
• Discuss results of our updated 'EH white paper' denoting the size, scope and value of the various environmental horticulture sectors (wholesale and retail nurseries, floriculture producers, landscape contractors, arborists and urban foresters, home gardening, etc.) and its use
• Develop a timeline for the above and schedule another EH PT meeting in 6 months.

Who Should Attend

ANR Academics, Programmatic Staff and invited UC partners and stakeholders. Staff are asked to obtain approval from supervisors or program leads.
