Choose a location for your hive

Hive location is important for you, your neighbors, the community and the honey bees.

Be certain honey bee hives are allowed in the area you are considering for your hive and that required distances from property lines, structures and sensitive site areas can be met. It is also vital that there are adequate water and food sources nearby.
