The University of California Cooperative Extension in San Diego County invite you to join us for the 2017 Pitahaya or Dragon Fruit Production Tour and the 2017 Pitahaya or Dragon Fruit Festival and Field Day on August 25-26, 2017. These events will provide up to date, valuable information and strategies to help you learn and deal with a number of issues impacting pitahaya or dragon fruit production in California.

SEMINAR VENUE

The pitahaya or dragon fruit production tour will start and end at the San Diego County Farm Bureau after visiting three of the premier pitahaya or dragon fruit growing operations in San Diego County. The Festival and Field Day will be at the University of California South Coast Research and Extension Center in Irvine. Both venues are easily accessible and there is a diverse offering of restaurants and lodging options near the two sites. A list of restaurants and lodging options is provided in the travel and lodging section of this website.
