Small Farms Advisors and their teams serve small-scale farmers with diverse programs that address the needs of their counties' clientele. To meet those needs, staff:
- provide on-farm consultations,
- conduct research,
- present educational outreach programs,
- author research publications, and

- California Undeserved and Small Producer Program (CUSP) Team
- CUSP Funded Bilingual Educators
- CUSP Funded Statewide Program Staff
- The CUSP team provides bilingual technical assistance on a diversity of topics, including grant and incentive program application assistance, regulatory compliance, and agricultural production and marking technical assistance.
- Small Farms Food Safety Team
- Offers workshops and technical assistance to aid growers in complying with federal food safety requirements.
