San Mateo/San Francisco 4-H Youth Development Program

How 4-H'ers can help with disaster relief


Community development is at the heart of everything we do throughout the UC Cooperative Extension network. Many of you are probably looking for ways to support residents and animals impacted by the recent Camp Fire. At this time, monetary giving and gift cards are the most efficient way to help our neighbors.

Our colleagues from Butte County have informed us that the best way for monetary giving is through the Camp Fire Agricultural Relief Fund. You can donate online through the Golden Valley Bank Community Foundation or checks can be made payable to “GVBCF-Camp Fire” and mailed to or dropped off at the Bank: 190 Cohasset Rd. Ste. 170 Chico, CA 95926. Please be sure to include “Camp Fire Agricultural Relief Fund” on the memo line. All donations are tax deductible.

Know our 4-H policy on fundraising and donating to non-profit organizations.

4-H clubs cannot donate cash or fundraise for other non-profit organizations. Please familiarize yourself with the following documents for more clarification:
