Registration

All speakers must register for the conference.  Travel expenses and lodging are the responsibility of the presenter.  If you have special needs, please contact Janice Alexander (jalexander@ucanr.edu).  A discounted registration rate of $240 is available until May 24.  We encourage you to register and reserve your lodging as soon as possible.  The field trip is expected to sell out, so please sign-up early to reserve a spot.  To learn more about the events of each day and register for the Conference, please view Registration details.

Poster Session Instructions

Poster Guidelines
Posters should be prepared with a technical and lay audience in mind, despite the detailed nature of some topics.  Please include key messages and the implications of your findings.  Handouts are encouraged.  Please limit your poster to 36” high by 48” wide.

Poster Display at the Conference
We will be mounting the posters on top of foam boards on tables.  Instructions for times for putting up posters will be provided a few weeks prior to the conference.  The posters will be on display throughout the conference.  Please plan to take down your poster at the end of the poster session on Wednesday, June 26.

Poster Display Online
We would like to include posters on the SOD7 Symposium website following the meeting.  Please provide an electronic copy in PDF format to Bonnie Nielsen (banielsen@ucanr.edu) by June 21 (prior to the meeting) if you would like your poster to be included on the website.

Poster Questions
If you have special needs or questions, contact the poster session organizer, Dan Stark (stark@ucanr.edu).

Poster or oral presenters are encouraged to publish their work in the conference proceedings.  The proceedings will be published (online only) by the USDA-Forest Service Pacific Southwest Research Station (PSW).  For complete instructions and format examples, please view Author Instructions.
