Immediately following this workshop was the Xth International Symposium on Thysanoptera & Tospoviruses.
This was a unique opportunity to convene leading international scientists, extension specialists, and individuals in the agricultural industry to share and discuss the latest findings in thrips and tospovirus biology, ecology and management.
Asilomar State Park and Conference Grounds is a beautiful, historic location with excellent conference facilities and accommodations, easily accessible by shuttle from the San Francisco International Airport and Mineta San Jose International Airport, and is in close proximity to the Salinas Valley, an agricultural hotspot, making it the perfect location for our meeting.
