County Ambassador

Dear 4-H Community,

the County Ambassador is the highest local level a member can achieve. Members apply using their verified 4-H star ranks in and Personal Development Report or by showing documented work that is the equivalent to earning a gold star. The Plan of Action will feature a focus on Service Learning.

The County Ambassador position requires an application process each year and an interview by a selection committee. Applications are now open and will close on May 3rd, 2024.

2024-2025 County Ambassador Application

A panel interview will be held on Friday, May 24th for those who apply. More information will be provided.

Of course, this team will need adult leadership to help the youth who apply reach their goals. Applicants are being sought for County Ambassador Coaches. Please review the Coaches applications and consider ways that you can give your time even if it is for a one-time special event.

County Ambassador Coaches are an essential part of the Leadership Program. Adult volunteers are welcome to become involved as mentors, trainers, guest speakers or chaperones.

Traditionally, County Ambassadors applications open in March, and interviews are held in May. Final selections are made in late June.

These youth begin their term in July.
