Innovative Ranching Practices Workshop - September 7

Holistic Management International is holding a workshop on “Preserving the ‘Cowboy Side of California': Innovative Practices to Continue the Ranching Lifestyle” on September 7, 2016 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The workshop will be located at the Parkfield Café and V-6 Ranch, 70410 Parkfield-Coalinga Rd in Parkfield.   Topics covered will include the holistic 3-legged stool, grazing practices for grass-fed beef, ecosystem monitoring, saving ranches with conservation easements, and more. Royce Larsen and Devii Rao will be representing UCCE and will be talking about innovative treatments for chamise and tumbleweed. Advanced registration is $25/person (includes lunch) and closes on August 30. Walk in registration is $35 per person, if available.
