  • It is the only palm native to the Western United States and the country's largest native palm
  • Grows to 59 feet in height and in ideal conditions up to 82 feet tall
  • Longevity is 80 to 250 years
  • Hardy down to 18 °F
  • Has insignificant flowers with small fruit which the wildlife enjoy
