Last year there were five successful applications for Forest Service Woody Biomass Utilization Grants totalling $1,245,000 for California and Oregon projects. Further information on these projects is at the USDA News Center.
If the program runs in 2009 the request for proposals for will likely be announced in September. Watch this space for the RFP information. Please contact us if you have project ideas or questions about this grant program. The program is run by the Technology Marketing Unit at the Forest Products Laboratory in Madison.
