With the help of the California 4-H Foundation, the Randy Stacy Memorial Scholarship endowment fund was created by the Stacy Family in memory of their son, Randy Stacy, an outstanding 4-H youth who excelled in both leadership and the mentoring of younger 4-H members.
AMOUNT: $2,000.00 is available each year to be awarded to one or more applicants.
WHO CAN APPLY:
- Senior students in the Antioch or Liberty High School Districts
- Current 4-H member in good standing
- Planning to attend a vocational school, community college or university after completing high school
HOW TO APPLY:
- BY MAIL: Obtain the application here and follow the instructions.
- ONLINE: Complete this application survey.
SUBMIT: Be ready to provide the following information.
- Personal Information: name, address, phone number, email address.
- 4-H Information: club name, number of years as a 4-H member, star ranks achieved, major projects and any special awards received.
- School Information: high school name, any school clubs/activities, high school transcript and a list of vocational schools, colleges or universities you have applied to attend in the Fall.
- Essay/Statements: 4-H accomplishments, your college plans and career goals, and tell us why you should be awarded this scholarship.
- Letters of Recommendation: 2 letters - one from a 4-H leader and one from a youth member whom you have mentored. Letters are to be mailed or delivered to the County 4-H Office prior to the application deadline.
