Winter is the ideal time to plant bare root fruit trees with winter rains to help them get established. Diane Mahan, an experienced arborist and UC Master Gardener will explain how to plan for tree locations, select appropriate trees, and demonstrate how to prepare the soil and plant them. This will be an outdoor program so dress appropriately, and bring a folding camp chair with you. If weather is bad, we will move indoors.
