9:00AM to 4:30PM

Shone Farm

 7450 Steve Olson Ln

Forestville, CA 95436

UCCE Sonoma is committed helping build a more resilient community and natural resources given the realities of fires in the wildland-urban interface. Much of Sonoma County is considered a high fire-hazard environment, consisting of urban areas and communities adjacent to wildlands as well as privately owned range and forestlands. Our ability to live more safely in this fire-hazard environment depends upon our pre-fire activities, as actions taken before a wildfire occurs that improve the survivability of people and homes.

Who should attend: Large property owners & Suburban/ Urban homeowners.

Attendees will break out into two tracks depending on whether they are a larger property owner (with rangelands and/or forest) or urban or suburban homeowners; the topics addressed in the afternoon tracks are Large Property Owners and Homeowners.
