2019 State 4-H Fashion Revue participant registration

This is the website to register to participate in 2019 State 4-H Fashion Revue.

Congratulations on qualifying at your County Fashion Revue to enter 2019 State Fashion Revue (SFR). SFR is Saturday, June 1, 2019 in Olson Hall at UC Davis as part of State Field Day. Each county may qualify one delegate per age division and category. Delegate eligibility will be confirmed with county 4-H offices. For complete SFR rules, go to http://4h.ucanr.edu/4-H_Events/SFD/SFR/

To register:

1.  Type out your commentary, limit 60 words. Save it in your computer.

2.  Have someone take a photograph of you wearing your complete SFR outfit. For all categories, you need a full length photo of you from the front, head to toe, with shoes. In addition, if you have handmade an accessory you may include one photo of that.

For the Make It Mine Challenge there is an option to include a photo of the original fashion drawing. For the Retro/Historical Challenge there is an option to include a photo of the classic design that is being reproduced or duplicated.

Save the photos in your computer in JPG format, using your name in the title. Size all photos at 1 MB or less. Do not scrapbook the photos.

3. For the Consumer Science Purchased category, make sure you have a receipt for everything you are wearing that is visible including shoes, accessories, and jewelry. Receipts must be dated during the 2018-2019 4-H year. If you purchased multiple items at the same time, circle the items that are part of your SFR outfit. Scan your receipts and save the file on your computer. If you don't have a scanner, you can take a close-up picture of the receipts with your smart phone in a bright light. Make sure the receipts are clear and readable in the picture.

5. Answer the general entry questions and provide the answers needed for your category. You must list an email address to receive confirmation of your registration. List your age as of 12/31/2018.

6. Copy and paste your commentary into the space provided or type it into the space.

7. Attach the scanned receipts for the CS Purchased category. They will be reviewed for compliance with the category requirements.

8. Attach the required full length photograph for all categories.

9. Complete this registration with all required attachments by 5:00 PM on May 15, 2019.

10. Each member qualifying for State Fashion Revue may only enter one category. If you qualified in more than one category at your county event, you must choose which category to enter for SFR.

11. If you are entering both SFR and State Presentation Day, you must register for each event by the entry deadline for the event. Indicate that you are dual-entered on both registrations. Rooms in Olson Hall are provided for SFR delegates who are also giving individual and team presentations. Cultural Arts presentations will be accommodated in Olson Hall to the best of our ability, as long as the presentation can be given in a classroom or the foyer. It is highly unlikely that SFR delegates can dual-enter in Share the Fun as these are given in another building during SFR judging. It may be possible to also enter the Interview Contest if your interview time can be scheduled during the SFR lunch break. Contact the SFR Registrar and the Coordinator for the other event to see if dual-registration is possible.

12. You must click the "submit" button to complete your registration. When you do, you will receive an automatic message saying it has been sent to the Registrar. The Registrar will confirm your SFR eligibility with your county, then email you to confirm your SFR entry. If any information or attachments are missing, they must be supplied to the Registrar before your entry is accepted. No information, photos, or receipts will be accepted the day of the event.

If you have questions, contact Sue Moore, the SFR Registrar, at 2moores.sue@gmail.com or 209-743-2020.

Each county is required to provide one SFR evaluator per every 5 entries. Adult Fashion Revue Evaluators and Room Monitors, please register using the survey: http://ucanr.edu/survey/survey.cfm?surveynumber=26236

In addition, we need 15 Presentation Evaluators for Olson Hall to accommodate the members who are dual-registered in SFR and State Presentation Day. Please register using the SFR Evaluator survey. Thank you!
